We’re looking for a motivated Project Coordinator – Engineering to work closely with our Urban Systems Manager, helping to coordinate and support a variety of engineering‑led projects across our Hardware, Software, and Support teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and maintaining project plans across Urban Systems, Software, Hardware, and Support teams
- Tracking project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts
- Supporting resource planning and identifying potential conflicts across engineering disciplines
- Monitoring project budgets and tracking actual versus planned spend
- Producing clear project status and budget reports for management review
- Supporting planning meetings and internal reviews with accurate, up-to-date information
- Maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reporting trackers
- Assisting with continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes
Profile
We’re interested in candidates who are organised, detail‑focused, and confident working with multiple priorities in a collaborative technical environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a project coordination, PMO, planning, or project support role
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Confidence using project plans, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Basic understanding of budget tracking and cost management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Desirable
- Experience working within a software or engineering environment
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Microsoft Planner
- Experience supporting internal improvement or operational projects
