Management Accountant – FTC

Your Challenge
SWARCO has an amazing opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing month end activities, being a Business Partner to Indirect Cost Centres, full balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the annual audit process. This role is a Hybrid role with the requirement for 60% office based in Basingstoke and 40% home based.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end close activities
- Timely reporting and business partnering of indirect cost centres
- Budget and forecasting of indirect cost centres
- Assisting in delivering timely and accurate reporting (P/L and BS)
- Preparing full and timely Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in audit and statutory accounts process
- Fixed assets and IFRS 16 reporting
- Monitoring and keeping track of lease agreements and dilapidation provisions
- Collate monthly MBR pack slides for distribution two working days in advance of MBR meeting
- Documenting and maintaining the finance processes (including process flows)
- Seeking efficiency and automation through continuous improvement
- Contribute to wider team knowledge sharing
Your Profile
- Part Qualified or Finalist (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
- Continuous improvement mindset

- Good knowledge and use of IT
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Ability to present data clearly
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Sound knowledge of key finance principles
- Working knowledge of SAP
