We have an exciting opportunity to bring innovative ideas to work on new product development, supporting the SWARCO product development team in the Urban and Interurban space. Ensuring all project equipment fully complies and is approved to the relevant Highways England and European Standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and complete any factory acceptance test and equipment soak testing task including documenting all results.
- Ensure that project documentation is completed and stored according to company processes.
- Preparing and conducting training courses on SWARCO products and systems.
- Providing detailed test plans and implementing testing for customer approval, factory acceptance testing and soak testing purposes.
- Testing and certification of SWARCO products.
Qualifications
- A levels or HNC in a technical discipline or similar proven technical capability.
- Relevant industry experience, and advanced level knowledge of traffic signals and controllers.
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, traffic signal controller configurations, including special conditioning.
- Knowledge of industry specifications & standards.
- Working knowledge of CE marking.
- Working knowledge of IET wiring regs (BS 7671 18th edition).
