We are looking for a Communications Manager (12 month fixed term contract) to lead communications for ChargePlace Scotland and Evolt Charging brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Director and Customer Service Director in delivering communications for ChargePlace Scotland and Evolt Charging.
- Manage and respond to customer contacts across all social media channels, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Understand and communicate the organisation’s products, services, procedures, and guidelines to internal teams and the public.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure communications align with expected values and tone.
- Plan and manage social media content calendars, respond to queries, and maintain the Evolt Network website with up-to-date content.
- Support content creation for websites, social media, blogs, case studies, and industry award submissions.
- Assist with event organisation, internal communications, and cross-team collaboration, sharing best practices.
- Provide technical advice to charge point owners via appropriate channels.
- Monitor and report on social media trends and engagement, recommending bespoke communications when needed.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate the ChargePlace Scotland communications strategy across all channels, including content creation, scheduling, and CRM/email campaigns.
Profile
- At least 2 years proven experience developing and delivering communication strategies.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong media relations, storytelling, and content creation abilities.
- Proficient in using digital tools, analytics, and content management platforms (Wordpress and Spotler) to measure and optimise impact.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
