What you will do
- We have a vacancy for a CAD Design Engineer to join our team β ideally in/around the Melsonby area.
- Use technical drawing and designs to build our traffic signals/lights.
- Creation of 3D CAD engineering designs β using Autodesk Inventor & other design tools.
- Oversee Product Life Cycle Management process in Vault.
- Produce Bills of Materials along with fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Develop, document and implement the relevant design standards.
- Assist with production packs and improve drawing pack for sales/production.
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience with modelling and draughting, and a command of Autodesk software.
- Demonstrable experience producing manufacturing information and application of manufacturing designs.
- Experience producing assembly drawings, layouts, scheme, part drawings and sheet metal fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design constraints (material, tolerance, process, etc.) desirable.
