We are looking to recruit a Trainee Engineer to join our Field Engineering Services team in Leeds. As a Trainee Engineer, you will help within a busy maintenance team with the effective repair and installation of traffic signals and other electrical highways associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and install traffic signals
- Maintain and install associated highway electrical equipment
- Be part of a safety focused maintenance team
- Off and on site training will be provided to achieve the below
- Report to SDM to attain targeted KPI’s
Your Profile
In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:
- GCSE’s in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of traffic controllers and equipment would be advantageous
- The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
- The ability to work at heights
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Organised, trustworthy and self-motivated
- Full driving licence
- Right to live and work in the UK
