Stores Person

We have a vacancy for a Stores Person to join our team based in Glasgow.

What you will do

The role\’s main purpose is to effectively run the stores function, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of all materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and ordering materials, managing stock control in line with business needs, controlling red/green label spares holding, and distributing spares/materials to support operational teams. You will also produce inventory reports to support managing minimum/maximum stock levels. Additionally, the role involves providing equipment calibration and repair chain facilities to maximize equipment availability.

Although primarily based in Glasgow, there may be occasional requirements to work in other Service Centres, which could involve overnight stays.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

• Previous stores/stock control experience using a stock control system/software
• Fork lift truck license
• Ability to assist with installations when required
• A customer-focused attitude
• Organized, trustworthy, and self-motivated
• Full driving license
