We have a vacancy for a Traffic Signal Installer to join our team in the Norfolk / Norwich area.

What you will do:

  • The role will be to install, refurbish and/or repair a variety of equipment, including traffic signalling and other electrical street equipment such as street lighting, CCTV, and barrier systems to customer specifications.
  • The successful candidate will also take control of a work site and deliver tasks on time, undertaking a smooth handover to the customer.
  • Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring that QHSSE regulations and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Although predominantly based in the Norfolk area, there may be a requirement from time to time to work in other Service Centre districts which may involve overnight stays.

What we are looking for:

  • GCSEs in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent).
  • Sector 8 Accreditation (desirable, however, training will be provided).
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Understanding of traffic signal site installation and basic theory.
  • The ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work at heights.
  • An organised and enthusiastic work ethic.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
