We’re looking for an experienced Regional Service Manager to lead our field service operation across the South East of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people‑focused operational leader with a strong engineering or technical background to drive service excellence, develop high‑performing teams and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
You'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our EV charging network, ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable and efficient service while achieving regional operational and commercial objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Regional Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team of Senior Service Engineers and Field Service Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of installation, maintenance and repair services across your region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and developing the regional field service team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Taking ownership of regional service delivery, operational performance, revenue and margin targets.
- Ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient installation, maintenance and repair of EV charging infrastructure.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for service performance, escalations and continuous improvement.
- Driving engineer productivity, utilisation, first‑time fix rates and overall operational efficiency.
- Managing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, commissioning support and fault resolution.
- Monitoring regional budgets, operating costs and resource planning.
- Supporting engineer training, competency development and ongoing professional growth.
- Ensuring engineers are equipped with the tools, vehicles, equipment and spare parts required to deliver excellent service.
- Managing escalated customer issues, complaints and urgent service requirements.
- Working closely with the Service Desk, Technical Support, Project Delivery and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Producing and reviewing regional performance reports, including operational KPIs, customer satisfaction, revenue and margin.
- Promoting compliance with company policies, health and safety legislation and quality standards.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across service delivery and operational performance.

What We’re Looking For
- Engineering or technical background.
- Experience leading field‑based engineering or service teams.
- Strong people leadership and team development skills.
- Experience managing customer relationships and service delivery.
- Good understanding of service contracts, maintenance delivery and operational KPIs.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Formal project management training.
- Experience within the EV charging, electrical infrastructure, utilities or field service sector.
- Experience managing budgets and commercial performance.
- Knowledge of EVOLT or SWARCO products and solutions.
- Strategic planning capability and strong commercial awareness.
