What you will do
- Install and configure vehicle and people access solutions as a Field Service Technician.
- Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging, and other access control devices.
- Ensure that access solutions operate as specified while providing reliable maintenance, repairs and class‑leading customer service.
- Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and work collaboratively to achieve resolution.
- Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software with basic electrical knowledge.
- Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices, including installation, firmware flashing (Linux) and software configuration.
- Basic network technology knowledge, including TCP/IP protocols and the ability to analyse and solve technical network problems.
- Ability to work in car park, stadium and construction environments and hold a valid UK driver's licence.
- Willingness to work in a specified geographic area, travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
