Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical & Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic operations team.

In this role, you will carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade work across our manufacturing facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to operational excellence, and ensure all electrical and mechanical systems meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
  • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance tasks in line with planned schedules using maintenance management software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on plant improvement and upgrade projects.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Train and upskill maintenance team members and operational staff as required.
  • Assist in developing and improving Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Set up, repair, and maintain variable speed drives, PLCs, motors, and automation systems.
  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Flexibility to work weekday and weekend overtime when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Recognised electrical qualification (e. g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance.
