This is a hands‑on leadership role within an electro‑mechanical / electronic assembly environment, requiring someone who can confidently lead from the front, drive performance, and ensure production runs efficiently to plan. You will lead, motivate, and manage daily team activities, ensuring alignment with weekly production plans set by the Production Manager. You will be responsible for creating a structured, high‑performing team environment, clearly communicating priorities, and driving accountability.
- Leading electronic assembly and testing activities, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Taking ownership of team safety, quality, and delivery performance
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, output, and ways of working
- Monitoring workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and taking proactive action to maintain production flow
- Working closely with planning and other departments to ensure on‑time delivery
- Championing company standards, processes, and culture across the shop floor
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an electro‑mechanical or electronic assembly environment (essential)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within production/manufacturing (essential)
- Strong understanding of electronic assembly processes, testing, and quality standards
- A proactive, hands‑on leader who can motivate teams and drive performance on the shop floor
- Experience of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to identify problems quickly and implement practical solutions in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience of planning, coordinating work, and ensuring alignment to production schedules
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both operators and management
- Competent in MS Office
