We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to partner directly with development teams, champion quality best practices, and streamline testing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases, set up and refine QA workflows, and provide guidance on designing and writing tests at all levels (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality standards, testing strategies, and acceptance criteria
- Establish and optimise QA processes, ensuring smooth integration of testing throughout the development lifecycle
- Mentor and guide team members on testing methodologies (unit, integration, and E2E) and best practices
- Advocate for quality assurance in all phases of software delivery, identifying and escalating potential risks early
- Contribute to automation efforts (e.g., writing or reviewing automated tests, integrating into CI/CD pipelines), while ensuring overall test coverage and reliability
- Analyse test results, manage defects, and drive continuous improvements to enhance product quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in a QA role with a solid understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E) and processes
- Hands-on background in coding and automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) to support and extend automated test suites
- Strong communication and leadership skills for mentoring developers, collaborating with product, and advocating for quality standards
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile workflows, ensuring tests are seamlessly integrated and consistently run
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for driving quality improvements in software development
