Key tasks & responsibilities

• Client Advisory: Provide expert guidance on a variety of indirect tax matters to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with the team to deliver comprehensive indirect tax advisory projects, covering areas such as VAT, customs, global trade, and excise duties.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong internal and external relationships, proactively identifying opportunities while managing client expectations.
• Technical Excellence: Ensure the successful execution of indirect tax projects—including the preparation of rulings, support during tax audits, and dispute resolution—by maintaining a high standard of technical expertise and a business-focused approach.
• Process Optimization: Assist clients in developing and implementing efficient VAT processes and robust compliance frameworks.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay current with legislative and industry developments, updating systems and processes as needed.
• Business Development: Drive growth by effectively managing existing client relationships and identifying opportunities to secure new business.
• Educational Initiatives: Develop and deliver client workshops, presentations, and other go-to-market initiatives that highlight innovative indirect tax strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or any other professional qualification;
• Fluency in English written and spoken. Any additional language is an asset;
• Motivation to start or continue a career in Indirect Tax in an international environment.
