We are looking for Support Workers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support, regardless of qualifications or experience.

You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. Experience of challenging behaviour and/or Autism, drug misuse, body dysmorphia is preferred but all training will be provided. This position is to support a young female in her own home who has cats as pets.
The role includes:
- Providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promoting the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensuring they are met in an inclusive way.
- Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
- General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties, including supporting with cats and helping to build skills around the home.
- Completing a range of records and documents using electronic systems.
- Being a resilient person and supporting in managing challenging behaviour in a proactive manner and in line with support plans and risk assessments.
- Being outgoing and having a fun outlook, taking interests in hobbies while remaining professional and maintaining boundaries.
