About The Role
Develop and grow as a Scheme Manager with Swanton Community Services. As a Scheme Manager, you will oversee and support our Supported Living services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and the effective day-to-day operation of our services. You will play a key role in supporting your team, building positive relationships with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across the service.
You will be:
- Working collaboratively by contributing to the ongoing development of services and working closely with your team.
- Supervising and supporting staff, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and professional practice.
- Building strong relationships with individuals we support, families, professionals, and other key stakeholders.
- Leading by example, ensuring services are well organised and compliant with all internal policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Promoting high standards of care, maintaining our strong reputation for delivering quality, person-centred support.
- Driving continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance service quality and achieve or maintain CQC Good or Outstanding ratings.
- Managing staffing and rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained and shifts are allocated effectively.
- Working closely with the Registered Manager to support the operational and strategic development of the service.

You’ll need proven experience in:
- The learning disability, supported living, or social care sector in a similar role.
- Health and social care, with a minimum Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent qualification).
- Supervising, leading, or managing a team of staff.
- Prioritising workloads and effectively managing multiple responsibilities.
- Using IT systems and software confidently.
- Demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Understanding CQC regulations and translating these into effective working practices.
- Delivering and promoting person-centred care and support.
