We are seeking a Domestic Cleaner for our service in Melton constable, Norfolk.

The Role

Key responsibilities are:

• To ensure that all areas of the service are clean, tidy, presentable and smell fresh thereby guaranteeing the comfort and well being of the people we support in accordance with generic cleaning schedules.
• Undertake all cleaning tasks around the service, this includes cleaning the people we support’s rooms, public areas, and the offices.
• To ensure laundry is washed including linen and people we support’s clothes.
• To check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Kitchen duties - to include food preparation and cleaning

About you

To be successful in this role it would be advantageous to have:

• housekeeping experience and this is desirable within a care environment.
• A good knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety at work would also be beneficial but not essential.
• You will need to be compassionate, have great communication skills and be committed to providing a high quality service for the People we support.

*A driving licence/vehicle is essential for this role as transport links are not in close proximity to our service.

About The Service

We provide person centred support to people 24 hours a day. This may be within a community based residential home or the individual's own home.
