Weekend Support Worker - Adult Community Support

About the Role We are recruiting Weekend Support Workers to support people to live in and be part of the local community, within a supported living environment. Our services are about helping people to get out in the community and make the most of their time in their own homes. Role Details Role: Support Worker (Weekend Only) Location: Telford Shifts: Days, evenings, weekends Hours: Part‑Time, 12‑18 hours per week WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP About You Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their personal choice, promotes their access to the community and their engagement in a wide range of activities? Responsibilities Assist people to live a full and happy life, run their own home and take part in community activities. Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices. Promote the health, well‑being, and cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way. Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities. Perform general housekeeping duties, shopping, domestic duties and personal care. Complete a range of records and documents.
