About The Role

We are seeking part-timeSupport Workers to join our team in Norfolk.
    Position:Waking Nights Support Worker
    Location:Melton Constable, Norfolk
    Hours:Full-time, 42 hours per week
    Shifts: Nights
    Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    • To provide support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
    • Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
    • To facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
    • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
    • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
    • *Due to location and a lack of transport links, a valid UK driving licence is required for this role

About The Service

Swanton House is set in delightful, mature grounds extending to some 22 acres in North Norfolk. We are registered to support up to 49 individuals within our 3 smaller separate homes, each one can offer both Residential and Nursing Care to the people we support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
