The role involves providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support in an inclusive way.
  • Performing general housekeeping duties, which can include shopping, domestic duties, as well as elements of personal care.
  • Completing a range of records and documents.
  • Providing 1 to 1 support.
  • Engaging in both lone working and team-working.

About you:

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals who are committed to supporting people in a way that respects their dignity. Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred, but all training will be provided.
