We are seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our team in Murton, Seaham.
Position: Support Worker (Bank)
Location: Murton, Seaham
Hours: Variable
Shifts: Evenings, nights, weekends
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos, support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support.
- Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
- Perform general housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.

We are a residential care home situated in the heart of Murton, County Durham, providing 24/7 support and care to 10 people with learning disabilities and/or autism. At Murton Grange, we promote independence in a person-centred approach.
