The Role
- To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
- General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
- As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

About The Service
Pant Yr Odyn - Swanton Care, is one of our popular 8-bedroom residential homes. Located in Llandybie, only two miles North of Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, and is one of two separate residential homes on site. Here at Pant Yr Odyn we provide support to those with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour.
