Responsibilities
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the children to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This includes recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
- Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support and care is delivered at all times.
- Ensure that all the people we support have person-centred support/care plans, and you will be able to create and update these plans as changes are required.
- Oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. Design, develop and maintain excellent service user records, working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
