We are seeking a Support Worker (Female Only) to join our team in Barnsley.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Barnsley
Hours: 36
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Weekends
Support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations while respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support to empower individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Promoting the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support.
- Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities.
- Performing general housekeeping duties including shopping, domestic duties, and elements of personal care.
- Completing a range of records and documents as part of the role.
