We are looking for a Waking Nights Support Worker who cares about making every moment matter for the people we support. Our residential service is about helping people to get out in the community and make the most of their time at home.
Location: Rhydyfelin
Shifts: Nights, Weekend
Hours: Full time, 42 hours per week

The Role
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos, support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents.
- Lone working and team-working.
