About The Role
We are looking for a Bank Registered Nurse who cares about making every moment matter for the people we support at our residential nursing home, Eden View. You will cover annual leave and other short‑term absences in a complex care setting supporting up to 10 individuals with neurological conditions, spinal injury and acquired brain injury.
Position: Bank Registered Nurse (Must have NMC Pin)
Location: Bottisham, Cambridgeshire (CB25 postcode)
Hours: Bank, 12‑hour shifts (days and nights)

Responsibilities
- Ensure a robust referral and initial assessment process that meets the commissioning authority’s needs and deadlines.
- Ensure new service users are oriented, paperwork completed on admission day, 72‑hour care plan created, GP registration arranged, medication prescribed, and relatives contacted.
- After the initial 72‑hour period, assess remaining needs and allocate staff to build rapport with the user.
- Develop person‑centred, philosophy‑driven care and goal plans measurable against four key outcomes, and involve users in planning.
- Maintain accurate records in written and electronic form, complying with NMC guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate care needs with the team, ensuring care is responsive, safe and effective, with monthly reviews at minimum.
