We are looking for Waking Nights Support Workers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support. Our residential service is about helping people to get out in the community and make the most of their time at home.
Role: Waking Nights Support Worker
Location: Ammanford
Shifts: Nights, Weekends
Hours: Full time 9pm - 8am

The Role: Support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- To provide support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
- General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents.

About The Service: Cartref Croeso care home is situated on the outskirts of a small village called Llandybie. It is an 8-bedroom property with 8 individual flats, tailored to the needs of the people we support.
