Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting for a Wheel Repair Technician to join our accident repair centre, reporting into our Body Shop Manager. You will be working as part of a large team and must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales. Repairs will include standard painted wheels, full colour change, cosmetics diamond cut repairs and special effect finishes.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Refurbish alloy wheel
  • Removing and fitting vehicle wheels complying with safety standards
  • Lifting wheels into dipping tanks
  • Carry out powder coating
  • Moving wheels from different repair stations
  • Removing/repairing wheel damage
  • Use CMC/Lathe machine
  • Wheel painting
  • Tyre fitting and wheel balancing

We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times. You will need to have previous experience of working in a similar role and knowledge of the above responsibilities. You must be able to work under pressure, use your own initiative and be able to work alone with a positive attitude.
