We are currently looking for a Pre‑delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our team. Reporting into the Workshop you will work as part of a large team responsible for the preparation of new vehicles for several of our large fleet contracts. As a PDI Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the customer can take delivery of their new vehicles and that delivery dates are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Workshop Manager about jobs
  • Checking vehicle safety features
  • Ensuring vehicles are correctly fuelled
  • Tyre pressure checks
  • Completion of all PDI paperwork/checklists
  • Vehicle test drives
  • Oil/brake fluid/washer fluid checks/top‑ups
  • Number plate fitting
  • Moving cars around the compound

Qualifications:

For this role we will consider candidates that have previous experience working with vehicles; this may be from an independent garage or a franchised retailer. It’s important you enjoy working as part of a team and that you are process driven in your approach.
