Swansway Motor Group is on the hunt for a skilled Dealership Accountant to join our prestigious team. As a Dealership Accountant, you will play an essential role in shaping the financial landscape of our dealership while working closely with our Group Accountant and General Manager to produce monthly management accounts.
In the capacity of Dealership Accountant, you will find yourself immersed in a variety of tasks pivotal to our motor trade operations:
- Produce monthly management accounts and reports, offering clarity on sales and service financials.
- Manage and develop a small team, ensuring their growth aligns with company standards.
- Complete critical tasks such as month-end manufacturer composites and VAT reporting.
- Assist in producing the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Streamline current processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and output.
We are seeking an ambitious Dealership Accountant with the drive to flourish in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A background of at least 18 months as a Dealership Accountant within the motor trade.
- Qualifications as a professional Accountant, or be qualified by experience (QBE).
- Experience with Kerridge, revision 8, ADP Accounts, and CDK Autoline systems.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to embrace change and introduce new working methodologies.
- A hands-on approach to get involved in the practicalities of dealership accounting operations.
