As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of safety and reliability, ensuring that all vehicles are road-ready and living up to their full potential.
In your role as an MOT Tester at Swansway Motor Group, you will
- Conduct ongoing service repair and pre-delivery inspection checks of vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisor team to communicate additional work or escalation needs.
- Use our 'see it now' service to record and convey necessary work on customer vehicles.
- Perform diagnostic checks and road tests to verify vehicle quality and safety post-service.
- Complete precise and thorough service documentation including job sheets, PDIs, and DISS reports.
Our ideal MOT Tester is a driven team player with a keen attention to detail. You will possess:
- A L3 qualification in vehicle service and repair, accompanied by a valid MOT licence.
- At least three years of experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- A remarkable ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- A genuine 'can-do' attitude and the motivation to excel.
- A valid driving licence, enabling you to carry out vehicle road tests safely.
