We are currently recruiting for a Compound Coordinator to join our team at our Volkswagen Van Centre in Birmingham. Reporting into the Head of Business, you will be responsible for the delivery and preparation of new vehicles. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be on your feet moving vehicles around the compound, planning deliveries/drivers for the day, completing delivery paperwork, and completing local drop-off jobs in the area.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
- Liaising with the Sales Manager
- Fuelling vehicles
- Delivering new vehicles to customers
- Completion of delivery paperwork
- Road testing vehicles
- Preparing the compound for drop-offs and deliveries
- Coordinating and prioritising deliveries
For this role, we require applicants to have a full UK driving licence and experience of driving vehicles of all different sizes, including manual, automatic, and performance vehicles. You should enjoy working as part of a team and be able to communicate easily and provide a polite and friendly service to our customers.
