Overview
Swansway are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to produce monthly management accounts for the dealership. You will line manage an Accounts Assistant and be responsible for their ongoing development. There may be occasions where you are required to support our other Audi dealerships in the division.
Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Weekly cash-flow forecasting
- Vehicle and stock monthly write downs
- Management of the fixed assets register
- Regular accounts forecasting
- Calculation of monthly accruals
- Weekly profit reconciliation
- Maintenance of dealership ledgers (payables and receivables)
Qualifications
For this role we are looking for you to have worked as within the accounts function at a Dealership (18 months +), either as an Assistant Accountant, Accountant or an Accounts Assistant which goes the extra mile and that can demonstrate the duties mentioned above. You should be used to getting your sleeves rolled up and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
It would be desirable if you had experience of the following accounting software:
- Kerridge – revision 8
- ADP Accounts
- CDK Autoline
Experience within a Dealership accounts function is essential for the success of this role.
