Job Title: Senior Meds Carer

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Meds Carer to join one of our residential & nursing home based in Chislehurst. As a Senior Meds Carer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safe and efficient administration of medications, providing leadership, and offering hands-on care to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who is looking to take on a leadership role in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer medications to residents in accordance with care plans and medication policies

* Ensure accurate medication records are kept and regularly reviewed

* Lead and support the care team in the safe management of medications

* Provide mentoring and training to junior staff members on medication handling

* Assist with the delivery of personal care as required

* Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for residents

* Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

* Previous experience in a senior care role, with a focus on medication management

* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential

* Medication administration training and certification

* Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to care

* Ability to lead, support, and motivate a team of carers

* A clear DBS check

* Must be able to do Meds
