We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher with a TLR for Deputy Head of Year to join our successful pastoral team at Swanshurst School.
Responsibilities
- Work as a key member of the Year Team alongside the Head of Year.
- Oversee and promote excellent attendance across the year group.
- Contribute to the school's well-established pastoral care programme and support pupil outcomes.
- Implement safeguarding and child protection protocols in line with WMAT policy.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Teacher with a Teacher Learning and Development (TLR) licence.
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience with pupils aged 11‑19.
- Successful completion of enhanced DBS and Prohibition Checks.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (satisfying Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
- Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to adhere to the school's safeguarding policy.
