Local Area Co-ordinator (closing date: 09/10/25)
£36,363 – £39,862 per year. We are recruiting an Area Coordinator to cover the area of Llansamlet. The post is a fixed term contract until 31/03/2027 in the first instance.
Working in the newly developing area of Adult Services Early Help is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a central role supporting people to pursue their vision for living well, helping them to stay strong, resilient and independent for as long as possible.
Area Co-ordinators play a key role in building inclusive and supportive communities and in enabling individuals and families / carers to:
- Stay strong, safe and connected
- Be heard, be in control and make choices
- Find practical ways of doing the things they want or need to do
- Develop and use personal and local networks
- Be part of and contribute to their community
You will need experience of working with people who have faced challenges, experience of working in the community and a background or interest in community development. You will be a self-motivating creative thinker who is able to work in innovative ways, and you must be committed to co-production. The successful candidate will need to be able to work sensitively with individuals, groups, communities and partner organisations.
