Overview

With our world-class research facilities and more than £500M investment into a new Bay Campus infrastructure, the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Swansea University stands out as a centre of excellence in the country. Our outstanding environment supports nationally and internationally important areas of research and teaching across a broad range of Science and Engineering. The faculty also plays a strong role in delivering the university’s international strategy and is actively strengthening its transnational education offerings.

The post holders will support the delivery of excellent learning and teaching during teaching semesters in our partners’ campuses in China while also supporting learning and teaching activities and other duties when at the Bay Campus in Swansea. Applicants should have experience of teaching undergraduate subjects in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The successful applicants will typically spend two twelve-week blocks per year teaching intensively on our joint programmes. Teaching responsibilities will initially focus on delivery of programmes at Harbin Engineering University, but may subsequently also involve teaching at Nanjing Tech University or indeed new partners.
