Working as part of the University’s outward-facing recruitment team, you will help develop and maintain relationships with feeder schools, colleges, external partners and internal academic departments. You will support activity at the top of the recruitment funnel through engagement with prospective students, data capture and lead acquisition, while also contributing to activity that helps convert applications to firm offers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of recruitment events such as Open Days, Walk & Talk Tours, Summer Schools, Clearing Visit Days, webinars, masterclasses and ad hoc campus visits.
  • Attending external exhibitions, school and college visits, and partner events, representing the University and delivering presentations that showcase the student experience.
  • Organising the logistics associated with recruitment activity, including travel, materials and event preparation.
  • Assisting colleagues with project work such as copywriting, presentation materials and recruitment resources.
  • Collaborating with academic departments to support outreach and conversion activity.
  • Gathering insights from events and visits to help inform future recruitment activity and support key initiatives such as the Confirmation and Clearing project.

This role involves extensive travel throughout the UK, including early starts, occasional evenings, and overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential.
