This is a Fixed Term contract until 26th February 2026 working 7 hours a week.
We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join the Fresh Futures project. This post is a fixed-term, part-time (0.2FTE) position for four months. The post holder will work within an interdisciplinary team spanning Psychology and Social Sciences at Swansea University and will contribute to a project focused on improving mental health and wellbeing through nutrition for foodbank service users. The role will involve supporting the co-design of an initiative to introduce fresh food produce into food bank provision in partnership with community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stakeholder mapping.
- Facilitate virtual roundtable discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings to ensure timely progress of the initiative and completion of actions.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a local foodbank organisation, working alongside the project’s lead and co-lead researchers, and to engage with a wide network of experts across multiple sectors.
