About The Role
This is a Fixed Term position until 31st December 2025 working 17.5 hours per week.
The post holder will work within an interdisciplinary team spanning Data Science and Psychology departments at Swansea University and will contribute to a qualitative sub-study focusing on community attitudes towards climate change and health, particularly among pregnant women and families. This sub-study aims to inform the projects public engagement and communication strategies to maximize impact and ensure effective dissemination of findings.
The successful candidate will have experience in qualitative data analysis, including proficiency with NVivo software, and a strong background in psychology or related disciplines. They will contribute to effectively engaging with members of the public to recruit onto the study, data collection, data analysis, report writing, and collaboration with the wider MAGENTA team and MAGENTA PPIE Group.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 – A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
