Wall and Floor Tiler

Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create attractive patterns

• Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, and repairing any imperfections

• Lay tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, floors, walls, patios, and other areas

• Ensure tiles are properly aligned and spaced

• Apply grout and sealant to tiles for a finished look

• Work with various materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and glass tiles

• Ensuring setting out is planned correctly and strategically

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tiling and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in laying and setting wall and floor tiles to enhance various surfaces and will have a NVQ level 2 or equivalent in tiling. We complete work on new build houses, council contracts, commercial contracts and occasional in the domestic market. You must have a UK valid driving license. Company van will be provided and travel costs covered., Previous experience as a Tile Setter or similar role

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools

• Knowledge of reading schematics and blueprints

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Carpentry skills are advantageous

• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in tiling.

• Must be willing to assist other trades in the company when needed.
