Overview

The Head Teacher and Governing Body of St Thomas Community Primary School are looking to appoint a temporary, Grade 4 Teaching Assistant, to join our school family. As teaching assistants, you will be responsible for supporting our pupils, not only in their learning but also their social and emotional development. The posts will be temporary until March 2026, in the first instance.

About the school

St Thomas Community Primary School is located in the east of Swansea and caters for pupils aged three to eleven. We have 15 classes with over 350 full time pupils and approximately 80 part time nursery pupils. The school building is a modern, purpose built facility which opened in 2007 and is situated next to Maesteg Park in St Thomas, close to Fabian Way and SA1.

The school is proud of the high levels of trust and commitment which exist between everyone involved, ensuring that children in our care receive the best education and support possible.
