The Council's Building Control section is committed to providing a quality assured customer led service in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- You will be an experienced Building Control Surveyor with proven knowledge of building control and a strong understanding of building regulations, particularly relating to fire safety.
- With the ability to deal with people at all levels, from a range of organisations, you will be open to new ideas, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Corporate membership of either the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or the Association of Building Engineers is desirable.
- Registration for Building Control Professional (BCP) Competence Validation Assessment at band B or C is a requirement.
- Candidates must also possess a full valid driving licence.
