Overview

As a Senior Practitioner, you will supervise and support a team of Social Workers working with adults aged 18+ who receive commissioned services. Youll oversee statutory reviews and reassessments, ensuring that care and support plans reflect changing needs and promote independence and wellbeing. Youll play a key role in maintaining high standards of practice, supporting performance and budgetary objectives, and contributing to the development of a strengths-based, outcome-focused approach across the service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of social workers, providing professional guidance and reflective supervision
  • Assist the Team Lead in the day-to-day management of the team
  • Oversee statutory assessment, monitoring, and review processes
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with legislation and departmental policies
  • Support performance monitoring and contribute to budgetary oversight
