We want to support Swansea schools' leaders to drive improvement by:
- developing a high-quality education profession;
- working collaboratively to raise standards;
- providing a curriculum to focus on excellence, well-being & equity;
- supporting robust evaluation within a self-improving system.
The successful candidate will fulfil the role of school improvement adviser for schools in Swansea and will work closely with wider teams across local authorities to:
- contribute to Swansea Council's support to school leaders and governing bodies;
- work effectively with Partneriaeth and other key delivery partners in developing support for professional learning, including leadership development and ongoing curriculum review.

- Candidates should be a headteacher/senior leader from successful schools and/or have recent demonstrable success as an education improvement professional.

- The post will commence on 1 January 2026 (or as soon as possible) and is a permanent post.
- Salary: £66,724 - £70,009 (+3SPA) per year.
