Interplay grew out of the need for accessible play schemes during the summer for children with disabilities and has grown to become a year round provider of inclusive play, leisure and social opportunities for 4-25 year olds in the counties of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

Are you a hard working and fun individual, who is passionate about helping children and young people aged 4-25 with additional support needs to reach their full potential? Interplay are looking for two new 25 hour Playworkers to join their current play team.

The role is based in the Play Hwb in the Penderry area of Swansea, and would require the successful applicants to work Tues-Fri evenings, Saturdays and week day daytime during the school holidays, delivering provision in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

Essential:

  • You will need to be over the age of 18, able to work flexibly.
  • If successful, as part of the job role, undertake a playwork qualification.

Desirable:

  • Have a clear driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Be a Welsh speaker.
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 in Playwork practice.
