£28,142 - £31,022 per year. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Street Works Technician to join Swansea Council's Street Works Department. The post holder will be responsible for licensing and enforcement and oversight of all licensable activities on the highway in accordance with current legislation and regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing licensable street works activities on the highway, oversight and supervision of works undertaken by licence holders, management and maintenance of organising all registers ensuring they are kept up to date, undertake any enforcement actions if breaches occur and any other street works related matters that may arise.
You will be required to deal directly with the public, industry experts, and councillors in order to deliver an efficient, effective & customer friendly service. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated person, able to meet deadlines and help the department meet performance targets.
The position is full time, permanent and is based at the Clydach Depot, Clydach, Swansea with agile working arrangements.
