We are seeking a qualified Trading Standards Officer to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic officer to join a team committed to providing support to businesses in the city, whilst robustly tackling illegal trading activities, using the full range of tools and techniques available.
You will hold the relevant formal Trading Standards qualification and will be working as part of a busy team focusing on food standards inspections across the city as well as being involved in all aspects of Trading Standards work as required.
You will be organised and have the flexibility to work occasional unsocial hours. Above all, you will be able to deal sympathetically with members of the public and businesses, while also being confident in your ability to handle difficult and challenging situations.
