The predicted salary is between 45091 - 54000 £ per year.
£45,091 per year (plus 15% Market Supplement - Review after 12 months). We require enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to work within the Building Control team. Good communication skills, a commitment to team working and a positive attitude to the delivery of high-quality customer focused services are essential.
The Council's Building Control section is committed to providing a quality assured customer led service in a competitive market. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to work within the Building Control team.
You’ll be an experienced Building Control Surveyor with proven knowledge of building control and a strong understanding of building regulations, particularly relating to fire safety. With the ability to deal with people at all levels, from a range of organisations, you’ll be open to new ideas, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities to meet deadlines.
Corporate membership of either the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or the Association of Building Engineers is desirable. Registration for Building Control Professional (BCP) Competence Validation Assessment at band B or C is a requirement. Candidates must also possess a full valid driving licence.
