With a huge and expanding pipeline of work programmed well into the next decade, we believe the time is right to bring more pre and post contract work in-house. You will be part of a strong team delivering a broad & exciting range of maintenance and refurbishment schemes such as schools, housing, heritage and commercial projects and will be at the forefront of the drive for decarbonisation across the council's portfolio.

Ideally, you will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with excellent customer service skills combined with good construction knowledge, holding a relevant professional qualification and have experience of carrying out detailed design work across a range of building projects.

The main focus of the post will be to work with numerous principal contractors, sub-contractors, stakeholders, councillors and tenants to ensure that projects are designed, managed and successfully completed within set timescales and budget.
